In addition to my work as a resident not in training as a specialist in surgery, I am a PhD candidate at the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Hand Surgery at Utrecht University and The University of Texas at Austin. My main research focuses on nerve problems in the hand, wrist, and forearm. I am involved in (among other things) investigations focused on the development of nerve disorders, their treatments, shared decision-making, and patient-reported outcomes, both before and after treatment.
