My PhD program focuses on peripheral nerve injuries in the upper extremity. Part of my PhD is being conducted at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). Trauma to the upper extremity can have devastating consequences. There is high heterogeneity in outcome measures used to evaluate recovery, complicating comparing treatments. My research focuses on improving outcome measures and assessing treatments. With these efforts, I aim to advance our understanding and improve outcomes for patients with peripheral nerve injuries.
